his beautiful painting is the quintessential Irish countryside scene on a summers evening. It is reminiscent of days gone by and captures the untouched landscape still found along country roads today. It is over the road from my own home and it never ceases to catch my breath every time I pass by. I love to paint rolling sunlit hills and our beautiful Kilkenny countryside with its patchwork of green fields never fails to impress .
