Why Join My 6-Week Art Classes?
Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning to a long-lost hobby, these weekly classes offer a structured yet relaxed environment to grow. Unlike a one-day workshop, a 6-week block allows you the time to breathe, practice, and truly see your progress.
Master the Basics: We strip away the intimidation of oil painting by focusing on the core fundamentals.
Build a Creative Habit: Dedicating two hours a week to your art is a wonderful way to de-stress and reconnect with your creativity.
Small, Supportive Groups: My classes are kept small to ensure everyone gets individual guidance and plenty of encouragement.
What You Will Learn
Over the course of the six weeks, we move step-by-step through the process of creating a landscape. You will gain confidence in:
Understanding Your Materials: Learn how to use brushes, mediums, and palettes effectively.
The Magic of Color Mixing: How to create a vibrant palette from a few basic tubes of paint.
Composition & Perspective: How to structure a painting so it feels balanced and deep.
Brushwork & Texture: Techniques for creating soft skies, rugged landscapes, and light on water.
Finishing Your Piece: Learning when a painting is "done" and how to add those final, impactful highlights.
